May is officially National Water Safety Month!

Here is some shocking news for parents of small children: a swimming pool is 100 times more likely to kill a child than a gun. Drowning is the second-leading cause of unintentional death for children under the age of 14. Drowning is the leading cause of death for children under the age of 4.

According to these statistics from Life Saver Pool Fence and the Consumer Product Safety Commission, an average of 390 children drown each year in their own backyards.

A pool fence from Life Saver offers a solution to this problem. Below is an infographic with some fast tips on how to keep your children safe this summer:

Life Saver is deeply committed to summer safety beyond simply distributing pool fencing. It is the only pool fence company recognized by the US Consumer Product Safety Commission’s Pool Safely Campaign as a Safety Leader, an extremely high honor bestowed only upon to organizations that make a serious contribution to pool safety efforts nationwide. Life Saver is also a partner of the National Drowning Prevention Alliance.

Life Saver's President Eric Lupton has dedicated his life to keeping children safe and is an expert in the field. Lupton was recently elected as Vice President for the National Drowning Prevention Alliance. He would be more than happy to offer his expertise on this matter.
